2024 Lexus TX Design and Features

There are a few exterior and interior design elements that set the Lexus TX apart. 20-inch wheels come standard on the Premium grade. For those who want a more powerful look, 22-inch wheels are standard for the TX Ultra Luxury and Executive trims. 

We also love the rear design of the TX which includes a slim signature L-shaped light bar lamp that mirrors the modern and resolute impression in the front to create a powerful silhouette. 

The TX is brimming with amenities including an available 12.3 multi-information display. The driver can open the door with a touch of the Digital Latch to reveal an interior bathed with available multi-coloured illumination accents and door trim options. Other features include

Comprehensive utility and usability in each row ensure all guests travel with comfort and convenience. All rows have accessible storage throughout the vehicle, seven charging/communication ports and three power outlets that enable passengers to use their smartphone or tablet at any point during their journey. Another nice feature is the cup holders which can hold various sizes of cups and bottles and are removable to accommodate drinks of all kinds. 

In the front seats, a dual-opening console lid gives front passengers the option of opening the left and right sides independently. The second row, depending on the grade you choose, is available in two configurations: captain’s chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench. Access to the third row is also very easy thanks to a slide-assist walk-in mechanism.

All you do is press the switch on the seat shoulder. The seat then tilts forward and folds the second-row seats. All that space means there are 569 litres of generous cargo space behind the third row!

What Colours Will The 2024 Lexus TX Be Available In?

The 2024 TX will be offered in seven exterior colour options depending on the trim: Cloudburst Gray, Wind Chill Pearl, Caviar, Matador Red Mica, Nightfall Mica, Incognito and Celestial Silver Metallic.

For those seeking an elegant and refined driving experience, the TX 350 AWD boasts a responsive 2.4L turbocharged inline-4 engine, delivering the same level of sophistication as found in the RX and NX models.

Stepping up to the TX 500h DIRECT4 AWD model, available exclusively as F SPORT Performance, introduces a 2.4L turbocharged Parallel Hybrid system. This cutting-edge system, initially introduced with the 2023 RX, seamlessly incorporates DIRECT4 and Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) technologies.

The result is heightened maneuverability, responsiveness, and improved vehicle stability. DIRECT4, an exclusive all-wheel-drive innovation by Lexus, employs instant electric control to all four wheels, dynamically enhancing performance in accordance with driving conditions and driver intentions. Meanwhile, DRS allows the rear wheels to pivot in sync with the front wheels during higher-speed turns, ensuring stability, and in opposite directions during lower-speed maneuvers for enhanced maneuverability.

Lastly, the TX 550h+ DIRECT4 AWD plug-in hybrid stands as a testament to innovation. This model marks the first-ever combination of a powerful 3.5L V6 engine with advanced DIRECT4 technology. Our guests can anticipate an unparalleled driving experience characterized by quietness, seamless acceleration, and an estimated EV range of approximately 53 km. It's worth noting that this is also the very first Lexus PHEV assembled in North America, and while this impressive powertrain will be available at a later date, its arrival is certainly worth the excitement!

Guests will find the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 standard on all 2024 TX models. 

The comprehensive suite of safety technologies includes Lexus’ best advancements in the field yet: Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Road Sign Assist and Proactive Driving Assist.
