HOW TO SET-UP GOOGLE ASSISTANT IN YOUR LEXUS
Posted on September 10, 2021
Available on select 2020 and newer models equipped with Enform Remote, the Lexus action for Google Assistant allows you to use voice commands to connect to your vehicle.
If you have Google Assistant on your smartphone or a Google Home or Nest device, you can use the Lexus Action to complete a variety of tasks from starting or stopping the engine, locking and unlocking the doors, checking your fuel level, and more.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO SET-UP GOOGLE ASSISTANT IN YOUR LEXUS
Step 1: Ensure that your vehicle is equipped with Enform Remote and that you are actively enrolled in the service.
Step 2: sign in to your Google account on the Google Assistant App.
Step 3: Once open, say “Ask Lexus”, Google Assistant will then tell you that your Lexus account needs to be linked to Google. Once you say OK, the Lexus App login screen will appear. Sign in with your Lexus app login credentials.
Step 4: Select your vehicle, create and confirm a four-digit PIN and select SAVE. It does NOT need to match any existing Lexus PIN you might have.
Step 5: Once you press, ‘Save’, the set-up is complete. You can now start using voice commands.
To get started, just say “Hey Google” or “OK Google” followed by a command. You can ask Google Assistant to start or stop your engine, lock or unlock your doors, check how much gas you have in the tank, and more.
