Endless Thrills – The 2016 Lexus RC Coupe
A sport coupe is driving pleasure personified. It’s all about style, performance, and engagement – and that’s exactly what the 2016 Lexus RC coupe offers. This stylish two-door from Lexus has been purpose-built from the start to be a source of endless thrills for drivers in Edmonton and surrounding area.
While the 2016 RC Coupe looks amazing even standing still, it must be driven to get the whole experience. Luckily Lexus South Pointe carries several RC 300’s, RC 350’s, and even RC F’s in our New Inventory. So come drive one today to reconnect with the art of driving!
Engine & Performance
Despite its aggressive looks, the RC is all about every day, useable performance. The RC 300 and RC 350 use a 3.5L V6 engine making 255 horsepower and 307 horsepower respectively; both are also available with AWD for all-weather performance. Those seeking even more will love the RC F, and its 5.0L V8 which offers a thundering 467 horsepower under your right foot. All RC’s come with a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters for increased control.
With its heavily sculpted body, the RC is designed to turn heads wherever it goes. Bold LED headlights and the signature Lexus spindle grille means everyone will see you coming, while dual exhaust tips and an integrated rear diffuser mean everyone will watch you go as well. The available F-Sport package turns the wick up even further, with unique 19-inch wheels, grippy summer tires, and exclusive paint colours like Ultrasonic Blue Mica.
In spite of its stunning performance, the 2016 Lexus RC is no stripped-out track-rat. Step inside and sink into heated and ventilated leather seats with large bolsters to hold you in place. A 7-inch colour display allows you to customize your readout – everything from navigation to music to g-forces are all available. The multi-tiered dashboard layout is inspired by the incredible LFA supercar, and even features the same moving centre ring which puts the tachometer front-and-centre should you wish to tap into the RC’s performance potential.
